KHEER


















Ingredients

Ø Rice                               - 2 cups
Ø Milk                               - ½ liter
Ø Sugar                             - 1 ½ cup
Ø Coconut                        - 1 small cup ( chopped)
Ø Cardamom powder     - 1 teaspoon
Ø Dry fruits                       - 2 cups

Method

Soak the rice for about 15 minutes and keep aside, bring milk to a boil in a large heavy bottom pot. Then add drained rice in milk to cook on a medium flame until the rice is soft, completely cooked and lightly mushy. Add sugar, stir and continue to cook until the Kheer turns thick. Then add cardamom powder, dry fruits and chopped coconut and serve hot.
This recipe is the easiest one to prepare during your festivals or some other occasions.
